For 4 years I worked in a warehouse job that was 40-48 hours a week. It paid my bills, and I acquired experience that might potentially lead to a better-paying job. That was a 3rd shift position where, on my nights off, I could pursue my greatest passion (writing) without interruption. When I realized that (being awake for) a real life mattered more to me than my work, I’d been at one place for 4 years. I left that position. Nine months later I left another warehouse job, and had spent more than half a year working a 56-60 hour a week position just to catch up. I was only there because it (also) paid my bills. It gave me more experience to build upon, but I got further and further away from a job that I could do happily.

After 2 months off, I applied for a part time position in customer service, all-the-while knowing that it would not pay all of my bills. With this new position I realized what was important to ME. This new employment is fun because I get to talk to people, to help them with their problems, and (hopefully) set them up with a problem-free experience, and I enjoy that. I ENJOY making people satisfied with what they are paying for. Period. When I worked for 3 years in customer service, I got a strange sort of thrill out of giving an angry customer EXACTLY what they wanted simply because I watched other employees struggle where I succeeded. I’ve had customers call my employer so that they could compliment how well I’d handled their specific cases. I can’t think of anything more rewarding than experiences like that. These are experiences that I can only get with employment positions like the ones that you are advertising.

With this new outlook, I know EXACTLY where I belong. I want to talk to people, I want to HELP people. I know where I’m going with my life. I don’t want to be a doctor or a policeman, but I want to be a person who hears complaints and helps people get the best from what they pay for. The customer is always right, and I know that I can gracefully handle complaints. I want a customer service job! Given all that I have already stated, I like the outdoors. I’m applying for a position where I will help people with their vacation(s).

When I was a teenager, my parents took me white-water rafting and canoeing, for one weekend or another throughout the year. Those were some of the best times of my life, and I would love nothing more than to help someone feel gratified with what they are giving to their children, or with what they are treating themselves to. This position exemplifies everything that I want, or have experience with, personally AND in a job setting. My resume and my personal experience has led me to seek this position specifically. I truly want to be chosen for this, for a multitude of reasons. If I seem like a fit for this job, call me. I will prove it to you!

This is The Nexus – a headquarters or homepage for all my books and literary projects. The idea behind this is that it showcases all of my work in one site instead of having several separate places spread throughout wordpress. In total I have 23 different blogs on wordpress, one for each book I’ve felt the need to put together. I have spent many, many hours designing these websites, and writing the content, so I really hope you enjoy picking one out and settling in for an interesting read.

A  more recent turn of events has landed me on -two- different promotional web pages! Translation: I crapped my pants. Twice. 😉 To view my photos and bios you can check out these two sites: & Chapter One. Those promotional websites are awesome! Don’t forget, I also have a Facebook page and a Twitter page filled with quotes, comedic puns and amazing pictures from all over the web. Thanks for your support!

On each of the category pages linked above in the menu bar below the header image, is a description of each book that currently fits into that subject, as well as a link to that book’s individual website. For each book, the “cover” page is where you will find a couple more paragraphs detailing the book, chapters up to 5 or 10, as well as any extra content that I may have for the book (i.e. maps of regions/worlds, deeper explanations of context, special sneak peek/spoilers, etc.). If there are less than 5 chapters listed, that is as far as I’ve gotten in publishing the book on

This will also be the place housing all of the updates posted, the newest chapters, which books I am putting up extra content for, and which book(s) I am currently promoting above others. The list below details every book I have up, how many chapters there are, and mentions extra content. I want to give a special thanks to Casperium from deviantart for the photo in the header, as well as the background (both of which are totally amazing!) – she created them. Really, it was bugging the crap out of me, the way it was working. So, here’s the new Nexus. Let me know what you think by commenting!
